Wedding Save The Date Magnets Advice?

Can you send out just the magnet itself or does it need a card also? What is the proper way to send them?

I have the magnets and the cream envelopes to place them in but that is it.

THANKS!Wedding Save The Date Magnets Advice?
You have the envelopes for the magnets and the information is on them, no need to send something else.

Congratulations and best wishes!Wedding Save The Date Magnets Advice?
Just send the magnets, no card. The magnets already have all the information on them, and people will know what they are without any kind of extra explanation. Sending a card too would be an extra expense you don't need to incur. The next thing you will mail is the formal invite.
No need to send anything else, you'll be sending a card later in the form of a wedding invitation.

Good luck!
As long as the magnet says what it is for then you do not need a card to.
Save the date cards are usually informal and they are a new tradition, so you can make it what you want. If the magnets have all the important info then, just send them. You may want to add a note that says that formal invitations will follow.

I only sent save the date cards to people that lived far away who would have to arrange special plans in order to make it, and people who I wanted to make sure came to the wedding like close family members.
since it is just a save the date, and you still are going to be sending out the wedding invite, then yes you can just send the magnet
