Can I Get Some Prom Date Advice?

Ok so I am in a very confusing situation. Last year I took a friend to prom and it was good, but to be honest it was a lot of money just to go out with a friend. Plus she wouldnt dance with me, i was pretty much just an escort. Well this year I really liked this other girl but apparently she wants to go with her ex. So im just confused on what I should do. Im not attractive at all, and im overweight. So I can't just walk up to a girl and ask her. But I really want to go to this years prom, I mean lets face it, its my last one. That other girl that I took last year wants to go with me again, but I really dont want to take her. But she doesnt seem to care for some reason. Prom isn't until mid may, but I really want to plan early to get the best deals. What would you do in my situation?Can I Get Some Prom Date Advice?
