I am working on a research paper, topic: the history of my birthday--- i need to know good places online to research specific dates. just anything in general- what was going on in the world, latest news, etc....

if it doesn't Google, it doesn't exist
I think that The New York Times has that service - enter your birthday and see the front page of the Times.





The Times has cut back a lot recently, though. You might have to go old tech and ask your library if they have newspapers on microfiche.





(Does anyone under 30 know what means ';microfiche';?...)
