I am white and my partner is Asian and there is no issue with it. Just dont force your culture down her throat. Yeah she should be interested in it and want to know about your country etc but you have to accept there will be differences at times. Equally she should respect your culture and not throw hers at you. A happy balance and a mix of what is best from both cultures is best. At 24 she is harldy what you would call 'older' than you as 22-24 levels of life experience and subsequent maturation are not too different.What are some advice when dating someone older than you and different race?
I recently dated a guy 2 years younger than myself and honestly there was nothing wrong with the relationship. As for the different race i have no experience.
but the only thing that matters is how YOU feel for the girl. No one else should contribute or encourage you to feel any differently. Love works in all communities, cultures, and all areas of life. Live it,love it, experience it.
no difference from dating a person your age and race. although don't act immature around her. and race doesn't make a difference although u 2 may have different traditions or way of doing things. heres some advice: Don't mention 2 her that u have never dated a white girl b4. that won't help much. oh and age is but a number. if she's going out with u even though ur 2 years younger then her, then that means she doesn't care that there is an age difference. So it doesn't matter.
Well, you know what the color of your skin is not important what matter most is how you communicate to her. As long as you know how to speak her language that would be fine unless you find it difficult to express yourself. She is not too old for you just a matter of two years only . I am an Asian too and my husband is an American. We didn't find difficulty in terms of cultural differences much more to you if you grow up in the same country. Good luck!
The race difference and such a small age difference are really non-issues. You shouldn't even think of them. Just act the same way you would on any other date. This is the ';melting pot'; of the world. Anybody can date anybody, and only the really radical racists would care about the racial difference.
First of all, there is not that much of an age difference. Second, for your relationship to work, you need communication..talk about your beliefs and her beliefs up front..others will see you differently because of your races. If you begin to feel strongly for her, you both have to stand up for each other. Thirdly, make sure that both of your parents agree to date, if not it will be alot harder on you as a couple.
two years is no different at your age and there should be no difference in race unless there is a big cultural gap, sometimes that is hard
Should not make too much of a difference, just make sure she is prepared for the culture shock when she meets the parents. Other than that, best of luck!
