It depends they may give the best advice because they know you so well! But if they still have feelings for you its cruel and you shouldn't talk to them about it.
No, not as long as you trust the person to give you honest advice and generally think his/her advice would be worth considering. It makes sense, really, since people who haven't done it don't know what it's like to be on a date with you.

What you do 'wrong' in one relationship may be absolutely right for the next person you are with. So you can't really learn what to do about relationships in advance.





Every new relationship is its own thing. The only lesson you (And indeed we all!) need to learn is not to drag all the baggage from past relationships into the next relationship. Start anew every time, for every person is unique! :)
