Anyone have good first date advice?

It's been a year or so since I've been on the dating scene. The last time I went out with a girl, we both felt the same way about each other, and honestly it wasn't hard at all to ask her out to the movies or so.





Now I've known the girl I want to ask out for awhile, so it's not hard at all to talk to her about anything. I plan on asking her before she leaves a party or when we both walk back to our cars to leave the house.





If she says yes, I'm gonna be all-smiles for the following week until the date, but I have NO IDEA where we should go. I don't want to be really formal and ask her out for a dinner and movie, it seems to early for that. I'm thinking about asking her out to go mini-golfing, and stop at an ice cream store on the way back to her house.





If she says no, well then problem solved, haha.

i think that you should go for ice cream, and a movie. but get the ice cream first, so that during the movie, u dont have to think so hard on wat to talk about, but afterwards, you can talk about wahtever, or ice cream, or the movie.

I would suggest asking her to go in a more casual scene. Like, at the party or something like that. Don't ask her before the party or after. (you might miss your chance!) That would make things even MORE awkward. Just be cool and calm. But, i do think the ice cream or mini-golfing thing would work. (personally, i would suggest going mini-golfing because it's a little bit more sporty and it would make it easier for her to flirt with you)
i wish people would actually be mature adults when someone asks a question like this, but ne ways, mini-golfing is a great idea. I don't know where you live at but a baseball game is also a good place to go. You can get beer (if thats your thing), hotdogs, and ice cream all in the same place
I think the beach is an awesome idea. It is summer, after all, and there's usually always something going on, especially if it's a touristy kind of beach with a boardwalk and shops, etc. You could walk the beach, hit up a casual seafood place, then go for ice cream. It's mellow and relaxed so you can just be yourself. Another good idea is to go to a theme park or a state fair or something like that. Don't take yourself too seriously, remember it's supposed to be fun!
Go to brown town first date. Even if she don't want that. Its so fun. Just do that thing that rhymes with grape.
the mini golf thing is too movie sceneish like, try to do something creative woth your talens, for example, im into photography , so on a date i have taken a girl on date to studio to pose as a model, she gets to role play, i get good shots, then we go out for ice cream or walk through park. see what you have in common, if like drawing, go to art class togethor, there are free art classses all over... something like that...

Be yourself. Be honest. Try to be witty and make her laugh but dont try to hard. be sure to laugh at yourself. Ask her lots of questions and actually listen. Girls LOVE to talk about them selves. Don't appologize over and over again, and don't say ';just joking'; after everything for fear of insulting her. Be a gentleman, but don't be a pussy. Open the door %26amp; pay for dinner. be sure to give her a real good good night kiss when it's all said and done with. good luck.
