I need some advice on going to wicked 5 days before due date?

i got tickets for Christmas to go to Wicked the show and its an hour away and i am due April 16th the show is April 11th what do i do? is it safe to go?I need some advice on going to wicked 5 days before due date?
Go to the show. You'll be in labor for several hours before you give birth, and it won't be like you are trapped there, you'll still have time to get to a hospital. Besides, that is still a while away. Before you officially make your decision see what the baby is doing then. You may give birth early, but you could also go past the due date.I need some advice on going to wicked 5 days before due date?
Depends....is this show in a town where there's a hospital? then at least you can go there for an emergency. but also if your water breaks you will USUALLY have enough time to get to a hospital. My 1st baby was 2 weeks late and 38 hours of labor, my 2 was on his due date and 5 hours of labor and the 3rd was 4 days late and 6 hours of labor. So i would say go ahead and go and just remember that if you do go into labor its an hour to the hospital. and if you don't then you got to go have a good time before your bundle of joy is here because then you wont have time to go! Good Luck
An hour away by car....I'd say you have it. If you are a first time mom, you may go a bit late. But, even if you go early and go into labor at the show, you would probably have more than enough time to make it back. There are many first time moms who have 'quick' labors, but the majority would have plenty of time to get back from the show and then some!

Enjoy your show - it may be just what you need!
As long as you aren't in labour I would go. I was in labour for 23 hours before I delivered so even if you started labour at the show you'd have plenty of time to get to the hospital.
Too big of a risk. Only way you could really go safely is if you have the baby earlier than the show, and by that time, you may not want to leave the baby's side anyways.
Why wouldn't you go? Is the theater that far away from the hospital? What could happen? Just bring your hospital bag in the car with you. The only thing I'd worry about is how uncomfortable you will be in those close quarters.
I think it would be. But, things may change in a couple of months. If you feel up to it and aren't having contractions...go and have a good time!!!
i would not take the chance. especially because there are numerous factors that can allow you to have an early pregnancy... so i'd just take it easy until your due date.
Eek! I wouldn't risk it. Especially since doing anything exciting might start labor lol.
Ask your dr. I honestly don't think its a prob but my only concern is you may have your baby by then. See what your dr says.
well if you don't feel up to it at time u can always sell the tickets on ebay but take a risk u'll be in for long enough with a new born
I wouldn't go! Thats pushing it pretty close....
i wouldnt chance it, you might even already have the baby by then!
