Quick date advice???????????

hmmm so this friend whois a girl of mine is trying to set me up with her friend. I got her number a couple weeks back and asked her to do something but she said she was grounded and couldnt so i kinda took that as she wasnt interested.





But today in the hallway my friend introduced us and we didnt have much time to talk but i asked if she was ungrounded and she said yeah then i said we should hang (all 3 of us to take less pressure of her)





So tonight i text her asking to hang out tomorrow and she says she has old plans with a friend and she couldnt but we could do it another time over XMAS break. Well im going out of town most of break so i told her the only days i could do anything would probaly be saturday or sunday.





So to my surprise she said yeah. She asked me what we would do and i said i didnt care. Then i suggested dinner and a movie.





Then we exchanged about 7 or 8 good text and i think it went well.





So it is kinda my first date sooo. Any tips? I know she probaly doesnt see this thing as an official bf/gf date type thing and neither do i. But id like it to progress that way.





but today (friday) i didnt see her in the hall today cause ihad to stay after class but i was wondering if i shouldjust text her tonight to kinda confirm. Id jst say ';hey so ill call you tomorrow afternoon';





But if shes with her friend like she said she was i dont want to come across like im nagging or anything. The last thing i want to be is somewhere im not wanted. Id much rather a **** off than being strung along.





Or should i just not say anything to her tonight and just call her tomorrow afternoon?Quick date advice???????????
I bet a dollar that you're safer erring on the side of not calling sooner, and just calling as planned.


THEN, later, when things have progressed, all this nervous tension will die down, you'll be more sure of yourself and her...then you'll be at ease about reaching out.

yeah i'd send her a text and just say something like hey i didnt see you today, but i just wanted to make sure we were still on for dinner and a movie. ill call you tomorrow afternoon. idk just kind of hey! im pumped for tomorrow. ill call you later kind of deal
i would not say anything tonight since you guys texted for a while earlier...just give her a call tomorrow. remember to just have fun and be yourself....as cliche as that sounds, it tends to work :)
I'd give her a text this evening just to say hello and hope she is well since you didn't see her today. Nothing wrong with that.
id text her it shows your still intrested :]
i would just say ';hey! i didn't see you today and i was just making sure we were still on for tomorrow night?';





i dont think that texting her would be nagging unless you keep sending duplicates until she responds!





and dont be nervous! its just a date, and she already said yes to you so the hardest part is over! just be yourself and dont try to act fake.
