I need first date advice?

So tomorrow I am going on my first date in several months and need to brush up on what to do and what not to do to makee the date go smoothly. She is driving in from out of town and we are meeting up for lunch, if we leave to go somewhere else should I drive both of us or she follow behind? Should I open doors for her? It is suppose to rain.....any good ideas for indoor fun besides a watching a movie? Any other pointers and advice is greatly appreciated!

sorry, but every well mannered guy should know to hold a door for a lady dating her or not. If you know her well then drive together just meeting her have her follow you.


Fun indoor things to do:


Movie(Iknow you said that but just adding it anyways)


Coffee shop(perfect place for any date)


Mall(dont have to buy anything but theres plenty of stuff to do like activies that they have in the halls.)

Ideally go somewhere with other places in walking distance, a large mall for example. You could spend the whole date just walking around and talking to her, because talking is the main way you build a connection, not ';doing something';.





I would open doors as long I'm not making an awkward lunge to beat her to it.





The whole point of the date for me would be to find out if she has the kind of personality and intellect that I am looking for, while at the same time conveying my personality to her, oh and also having fun :-)
